The First Wal-Mart Opens in India

India’s first store from the retail giant – which the Indian government has mandated that Wal-Mart restrict access to only to business owners, wholesalers, and their select friends and families – recently opened in the Punjabi region, and has so far been received warmly by the local crowds.

Now let the homogenization of the rest the world begin.
